Day 8.

Feeling better today. Caffeine withdrawals are no joke. I had migraines and excruciating pain behind my eyes, but over it gradually became less severe as the day went on.

The weather today was annoying. It was sunny, cold, and windy. Nature couldn’t make up her mind. One moment your body is warming up in the sun and the next you’re wishing you layered up more before leaving home.

Overall, the day was good. I learned some basic Armenian such as “Good Morning” and “How are you?”. I won’t try and write down what I learned — I barely figured out how to say it out loud.

I was glad to hear the news about Elon making an attempt to buy Twitter. Elon is a figure that many people hate or love. I would say I’m a fan. I notice something in his character that’s genuine. He actually cares about making the world a better place and we need more people like that!

But some people think he’s a fraud. Which I think is weird. I think people have a problem with who he is and what he represents, so they attack his achievements. I think attacking someone’s accomplishments is petty.

Other people think he’s not smart or he doesn’t pay enough taxes. The fact that he paid more in taxes than anyone in history seems to be ignored. If people don’t like him, that’s fine. But these criticisms I read don’t make any sense.

Here’s one critic complaining that Musk doesn’t live up to Tony Stark from the Marvel superhero franchise.

@axios Tony Stark made all his equipments. This dude is just paying people to do it. And yes, daddy was a billionnaire.

I couldn’t help but add my reply…

@Arturo__Bandini @axios People are really upset Elon Musk is not representing their interpretation of Tony Stark, who is a fictional character in a comic book movie. Just admit you don't like him and move on with your life, instead of these making these weird criticisms 😂

In other news, I wrote my thoughts about the situation in Ukraine and why I’m not as supportive of the war as others. I think I’ll let those ideas settle a little before posting. I want to reread what I wrote after a good night of rest.

Peace.
