Day 13.
I’m experimenting with something new today: writing this daily post in the afternoon instead of the evening. Technically, I’m writing this before bed as I won’t be sleeping until tonight, so the Write Before Bed principle still applies.
Changing the norm is something I often do. The fact that I’ve been traveling nonstop for 5 years is one example. Why do I do it? I think the novelty is something new appeals to my personality. It’s inspiring. It helps me become more creative.
The new hotel’s breakfast is more enjoyable than the previous hotel’s. They have more options and the ingredients seems to be fresher. Today I plan to see my psychotherapist. It will be our second session. I also want to use the gym and spa. I think today will be a good day.
Because it’s the afternoon, I don’t have much to write. I’ll be back in the evening to continue this post.
…
Okay, I’m back. Therapist session was good, but it went by fast. We covered quite a few topics and I am looking forward to seeing here again on Friday. It’s very insightful to talk about my past and connect my experiences to how I think, feel, and act in the present. I don’t feel completely relieved, but I do feel better than I did before I started.
Work today was also good. Profits were above average. I’m working on a few more potential projects because I’m thinking about purchasing a home soon.
I’m uncertain where I’ll be and what I’ll be doing in the future. Living in the US is very likely, but I don’t have the desire to live in a major city. I think I’d prefer someplace close to nature, perhaps by a lake in the mountains.
After seeing my therapist, I went for a nice walk in the city and ate a delicious salad. It’s probably the fifth time I’ve ordered a salad at this restaurant. The workers recognize me now. I also hit the gym and the spa.
Overall, it was a good day.
Peace.
