Day 15.
Looks like I’m halfway through a month of daily posts. Whenever I begin to write one of these, I feel tired or like I won’t have anything interesting to share. Yet, I still do it. I realize my posts are not necessarily exciting, but I’m not here to entertain you, right?
Writing these is somewhat therapeutic. I don’t feel like writing, but I do it anyway. And, overtime, my writing somehow goes from completely horrid to mildly awful.
So, let’s talk about today. Work was very, very good. Today was my most-successful day in the past few months. Profits were good. And what’s even better, is my partners will most likely want to scale next month.
Getting a full night of sleep helped. I experimented with an early workout and I liked it. At around 7am, instead of going to breakfast, I did an 45 minutes of cardio in the gym. It wasn’t anything strenuous, but it helped. Come breakfast time, I had an extra pep in my step.
I didn’t leave my hotel today. And that’s perfectly okay with me. I didn’t have anywhere to go and I didn’t feel the need to work at a cafe. I made progress with my game and I’m exciting about finishing it. Hopefully soon.
On the news front, it seems like people are becoming less interested. It must be, for better or worse, there hasn’t been any big drama. This is good, but also bad. It’s good because drama during a time of war means people dying — so the less drama, the better. And, it’s bad because people who want the war to continue or escalate are likely thinking of creating another dramatic event.
It’s all so tiring. I’m doing my best to not get too caught up in the news. I’m also trying to stay neutral. There are things I agree and disagree with on both sides and that’s the type of mentality I prefer having. My goal is to understand the situation and what each side wants.
Anyway, enough about the war.
It’s time for bed soon and rest, not stress, will make me a better version of myself. So, with that being said, it’s time for bed.
Peace.
